The drive from Panquitch to Zion on Highway 89 is a road trip into a world of color. Under normal conditions our eyes collect
visual information and our brain interprets that information based on past experience and produces an image we recognize.
Because of the preconceived interpretations that are produced by the mind the truth is difficult to see. A person must pause
and concentrate to shed the accumulated programing of our brains and see the true colors of the world around us.
